Thailand’s climate efforts received recognition from the World Bank during high-level discussions held on Monday at Government House. The meeting highlighted Thailand’s strides toward sustainable development, focusing on low-carbon city projects, water security, and solutions for coastal erosion.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Prasert Chantararuangthong, welcomed Melinda Good, the World Bank’s Country Director for Thailand and Myanmar, to discuss ongoing and future collaborations.

Thailand presented its Flood Way project and sustainable flood management strategies. The World Bank encouraged community-focused relocation plans and emphasized the need for comprehensive industrial and urban water management solutions. - Coastal Erosion Mitigation:
